I bought this scooty in Sep-21. By Sep-22, the vehicle was not even providing mileage of 10kms. In addition to the mileage problem, the battery indicator is misleading -, showing available battery whereas it would get turned off in 2 minutes' drive. This led me to walk several kms with the dead vehicle from office in formal suits & dress; to walk by towing vehicle while wearing heavy traditional costumes, attending functions.
When I submitted the vehicle to the showroom for battery issues, they came back after 6 months.
...after 6 months, i.e., in Mar'23, the showroom offered an "upgrade" to the battery, wherein they would replace the motherboard of the battery and for that, asked me to pay about 6k.
They promised that this upgrade will ensure that there is no battery problem that's going to resurface until few years at least.
9 months down the line, the battery now has a mileage of 10km per full charge of 4 hours.
The showroom that sold me the vehicle and the upgraded battery told me that they're shutting down due to losses and lack of ownership from the PureEV owners & PureEV management.
In total, my expenditure for the product was 92k + 6k = 98k.
I'd like to file a complaint against the company and request reimbursement for my expenses incurred for keeping a dead EV vehicle and the loss of reputation during the phases of me having to tow the dead vehicle wearing formal and traditional suits. Was this information helpful? |
