Respected Sir/Madam,
On Feb 28, 2022, I had applied for receiving my migration certificate by paying a total sum of INR 350 including the convenience fee.
I was under the impression that my migration certificate would be in transit by now. However, on checking the status in the tracking app given by RTU, I see that the status is falsely updated that I was informed of additional documents over a Phone call.
I would like to highlight here and strongly disagree with the false statement given my RTU representative on the status update that I was informed about these documents over the phone.
I DID NOT have any talks over the phone with any RTU representative and the status update is false and incorrect.
Additionally, I have been asked to submit an FIR, a DD of INR 600 and a clear copy of my consolidated marksheet.
I would like to question here the following:
1. Why is an FIR needed (if FIR means a Police First Information Report)? RTU should clarify the full form of FIR if it means anything else here.
2. What is the reason of asking for an additional amount of INR 600 in the form of a Demand Draft when I have already paid the required amount of INR 350 online while applying for a my migration certificate. This not only causes delay but is also extra anount for no apparent reason.
3. To the best of my knowledge and belief, the copy of my consolidate marksheet that I have subitted in my online application is legible.
I think RTU is just trying to find a narrow escape by giving lame excuses for not doing its work on time.
I request you to kindlly look into this matter and help me with my migration certificate ASAP.
