I am writing this email to formally lodge a complaint against the highly unprofessional and misleading sales practices followed by your representatives at Rangers Club.

I was invited to your premises through a call where I was informed that I had been selected for a special reward, along with an offer for a complimentary meal. The invitation was extended very politely, and I was encouraged to visit along with my spouse and children. However, the experience turned out to be extremely disappointing and uncomfortable.

Firstly, I would like to highlight that the contact number provided by your team is not working, making it very difficult to reach out for any clarification or support.

During the meeting, your executive presented multiple attractive benefits and membership features, which appeared convincing at the time. However, I later realized that there was a significant mismatch between what was verbally explained and what was actually documented in the agreement provided to me. Important terms and conditions were either miscommunicated or not disclosed at all.

Big question - 2 Kids Below 10 Years? Why only 10 year if someone is coming with Kids they will be young in 10 years. It means your offer is useless.

We have a dedicated member helpline [protected] to answer all your queries pertaining to your membership between Monday-Saturday 10AM-6PM. Which is not working at all.

Additionally, I am extremely concerned that the payment was charged to my credit card even before the agreement was properly reviewed and signed. This raises serious questions regarding transparency and ethical conduct.

One of the most serious instances of misrepresentation relates to the cost structure of hotel stays and associated charges. I had paid an amount of ₹1, 25, 000 through my ICICI Bank credit card on 23/08/2023, converted into 24 EMIs, towards a 10-year membership package that was explicitly represented as providing access to stays in 5-star hotels and resorts. At the time of sale, it was clearly communicated to me that an additional charge of ₹8, 500 would be applicable only when I actually availed a stay, and that this amount would be payable after completing the stay. I was further assured that if I did not travel or utilize the membership in any particular year, no such charge would be levied. However, I have now discovered that the ₹8, 500 is, in reality, an Annual Maintenance Charge (AMC) that is mandatorily payable every year irrespective of whether the services are used or not. This material fact was deliberately concealed and misrepresented at the time of the transaction, thereby inducing me to make the payment under false pretenses. Such conduct amounts to unfair trade practice and deficiency in service.

The entire sales approach felt highly pressurized and manipulative. Once we reached the venue with our family, the team persistently tried to convince us by showcasing unrealistic benefits and creating a sense o[censored]rgency and fear of missing out. It was particularly uncomfortable as we were accompanied by our children, making it difficult to disengage from the situation.

Moreover, it is disappointing to note that while customers are invited with promises of hospitality, the treatment becomes indifferent if the offer is not accepted immediately. This kind of behavior reflects poorly on your organization.

Based on the above concerns, I request the following:

Immediate review of the payment charged to my credit card
Cancellation of the membership (if applicable) and initiation of a full refund
Assurance that such practices will not be repeated with other customers.
