I was very happy to buy my first Toyota Innova car on dated 16 July, 2015 and I get married on dated 25 July, 2015.On 7th august 2015 I went to my factory and I was driving my Innova car at approx. 1:50 PM, when I crossed Surajpur police station, suddenly car steering and brake stop working and car goes into a ditch and bumped by a tree but the airbags of car does not deployed in this major accident. Thanks God that I was wearing seat belt at that time.
How this type of defect comes in new Innova car, Car just runs only 372 KM. When we asked from Toyota, why manufacturing defect comes in new car and who is responsible if something went wrong with me. Toyota representative said “ that there are no words to express our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family’’ and Toyota Territory manager committed to change the defective car but Toyota take 50 days to provide the details why manufacturing defect comes in car and refused to change the defective car and in details Toyota says that:-
“We could not identify any manufacturing defect in the SRS of your vehicle. Also we investigated Breaking system &Steering System of your vehicle and found everything normal. Upon further inspection we observed that Impact on the vehicle did not meet the Conditions for Air Bag Deployment, due to which Air Bag did not deploy in your vehicle”.
I am shocked to listen Toyota comments, that all system of accident car is working normal. I wonder that company like Toyota, who brags so much about the safety of their cars, is this standard of their safety????
Toyota representatives/executives comes to our office and forcing us to take insurance claim for car repairing.
