On 10/02/2022 I received a call from a hiring company called RECRUITSHR.
They told me that they received my data from a job site which I applied on(MONSTER INDIA and NAUKRI).
He (Siddharth Singh) said that my data matches for the role and offered me a job in Dubai/Muscat.
I believed them because they told everything in detail including the current visa issues happening in Oman.
He told me that in order to register for the role I need to pay Rs 8, 792.
I told him I’ll get back to you and he sent the company’s website link and told to read the terms and policies which says that the amount is refundable after the interview. I ended up paying him. He told that the HR will call and he gave me a code to reconfirm when the person calls.
The so called HR called, she (Meenakshi Sharma) congratulated me as I was shortlisted and she kept telling me its an undisclosed vacancy and she asked me to pay Rs 6, 999 in order to book the appointment. I questioned her and she said that since its an international job and the recruiters come from abroad they need to arrange the online skype meeting and she guaranteed I’ll get the job. I fell for it again and paid.
The interview still didn’t take place. Later she called and said the interview is scheduled and it’s the final process and I would need to make the final payment of Rs 11, 599.I questioned her again and she said mam I know its your hard earned money and we wouldn’t want to play with it.You can call me I’ll answer you anytime and she told about her head office in Odisha-Buwaneshwar.I believed her and made the payment.
Later she called me again and said that the interview is confirmed and I would have to pay the final payment. I was furious as she confirmed earlier I didn’t have to pay again.
I told her I’m backing out and I asked for the refund. She told it will take another 30 days. I started to get angry and she told me to calm down and to believe her as she represents the company.
I used to regularly follow up and she used to respond saying that the company will send a mail regarding refund after 15 days (which is the 01/03/22).The last I spoke to her was on 25/02/2022.I haven’t received any mail regarding the same. I called here so many times it says switched off/out of network. I even called the person who connected the call earlier with me it says switched off.I went to the website (https://www.recruitshr.com/) and tried to call same response and the website is not working now(Seems like they created it through GoDaddy).
Many are getting cheated with their dream job. We don’t even think twice because they put it in such a way that it seems true.
Its really upsetting and disheartening. I request you to please take this matter seriously and do the needful.
Its not Rs 1, 000 I lost Rs.27, 370 (She used to be on call whenever I made the payment and she would double check which the back end to see if they received it and all these payments were made to 2 individuals).
I hope your team takes an immediate action against these fraudsters and make sure to get back the refund.
