Red Chief — Complaint after sales service

I had purchased a pair of Red Chief men's footwear for INR 3150 on 9th July and was delivered by 11 July. The Red Chief product was brought from online shopping website Ajio. After delivery on 11 July, I did not wear the shoes till the next 20 days since I waited for a function in my office where in intended to wear them. I finally wore the shoes on 1 August and after taking a few steps, the sole of the shoes started coming off. I was shocked and contacted Ajio customer care who denied to my replacement request stating their refund policy is 15 days which has passed, I agreed to it. I then contacted Red Chief customer care hoping to get a replacement of my shoes, but to my surprise, the replacement was straight away denied and they offered me to repair the sole of the shoes to which I compromised and agreed. To increase my frustration level further, they are asking me to courier the shoes to their address and are not ready to arrange for a pick up from their end. I am really helpless now since I already have spend 3150/- rupees and sending them a courier would cost me another 500 to 600 rupees totaling the amount to 3660 rupees, an amount which is not worth paying for the quality of the shoes.

I am attaching the pictures of the sole of the shoes just after first wear.

Hence I request you to please look into the matter at the earliest and somehow instruct Red Chief staff to send me a replacement of the damaged shoe pair else arrange for a pick up of the product.
