I purchased Redtape RSO3441 (Black) shoes, size 10, for ₹2299/- on 12th November 2024 from the Redtape showroom at Gebi Business Park, Bhiwandi-Kalyan (Bill No: 2425/R[protected]. Within a month, pasting issues appeared on the front and back sole. Since the bill mentioned a 45-day warranty for such problems, I visited the showroom on 22nd December 2024, well within the warranty period.
I requested a replacement, but the staff said the shoes would be sent to the factory for inspection, and the company would decide further. After 25 days, on 16th January 2025, I was called to collect the repaired shoes. The repair was unacceptable, with messy and unprofessional pasting that looked like a child's glue job. The staff dismissed my concerns, stating, “This is the company’s work.”
I chose Redtape because it’s an Indian brand, but this experience was deeply disappointing. Such poor after-sales service and substandard repair are unacceptable. I demand proper resolution and action against this negligence. Photos of the repair are attached for reference.
