To The concerned person of Red TaxiI have raised complaints against the driver many times through email and calls, but no one is listening to me. Every time on call, your executive says that the complaint department will call you within 10 minutes, five minutes, the issue will be resolved within 24 hours, etc., but neither I am getting any call from your side nor a reply to my emails. I am writing to you again and explaining to you the misbehaviour of your driver, extraction of extra money, rash driving etc. Facts:1. I booked a taxi from Coimbatore airport on 18th December around 7: 15 am for Munnar. At the time of booking the taxi, it was confirmed from your side that the total fare would be Rs. 5100, but after reaching Munnar, the bill generated Rs. 5977. I got the following message followed by a call.Thanks for using RedTaxi! The amount for booking ID (CRB1812XA7DV8D) is Rs 5, 977.00. Kindly use the below link to download your invoice - https://redtxi.in/i/crb1812xa7dv8d9200Rate us on Google:http://t.ly/Ttev-RedTaxiAgain I got a call from your side to pay the bill amount to Driver, accordingly, I paid Rs. 6000/- in cash to Mr. ArunKumar. 2. I was also in need of a taxi for sightseeing Munnar, Thekkady, Alleppey, and Kollam and finally dropping Kochi airport at 5:30 PMon 23rd December. Accordingly, I called the red taxi. Your executive has offered me the same cab for Rs. 20, 000, and I got the following as a confirmation message: Thank you for choosing the outstation trip (CRB1812OSLYAFO) with RedTaxi. Cab Details: Chauffeur Arunkumar([protected]) on the way to your location in DZIRE TN99M7088.Fare Details: Round Trip for Rs.[protected] Hrs and 650 Km free), Additional Km - Rs.13/Km, Additional Hrs - 100/Hrs, Beta Rs.0. Toll (U/D), Permit & Parking charges extra.-RedTaxiLater on, I came to know that Driver was not aware of the local ways and every time he took the wrong way taking a U-turn many times and asking the way from local people again and again, which was not only wasting of our time but also consumption of extra miles also. I have raised the complaint on the number given for booking. Your executive said the packaging team would contact me by tomorrow morning. 3. Next day i.e. on the 19thof December, again I got a call from your side, and she said to pay Rs. 10, 000/- tothe Driver accordingly, I paid the Driver Rs. 10000/- through my UPI app(GooglePay).4. On 20th December 2022, the driver asked me to pay Rs. 5000/- more for extra expenses but I paid himRs. 3000/- through UPI app (Google pay)5. After dropping us to the hotel and boat he ran the taxi in the city specially in Alleppey as he got one ofhis friends who was helping to get locals. My Driver also kept us in hisfriend's home at Alleppey. He said to me that the hotel which I booked at Alleppeywas not good and convinced me to stay at his friend's home. It was around midnight of 20th December; we did not have any other option except to rely on him. He took me to his friend's home, where there was no lock in theroom, any power supply, smelling bed and pillow. We spent the night without sleep.We were new in the city. 6. Next day, afterdropping us at the boat, he went somewhere with my cab, and he stopped picking up mycall. my clothes were in the car itself. I called him four to five times, even from another number but he keptavoiding my calls from 12:45 pm to 7:30 PM. I messaged him that I needed medicine and our clothes, but he did not turn back. He called me around 7:30 pmand said I would come around 10 pm, but he did not come. He messaged me that heavy trafficin the city and he would not be able to come. It is quite obvious from his message andbehaviour that he was running the taxi for his personal use and was at such a fardistance that he would not be able to reach where he dropped me. 7. He came back the next morning at 9:00 am. 8. On the 22nd he dropped me at our hotel in Kollam.9. On the 23rdwhen I asked him to go to Kochi airport, he started asking me to pay Rs. 7000 morefor cleaning and repairing his car. When I refused to pay then, he started threatening to take us back to Coimbatore. When I protested then, he took us to KollamPolice station. When police officers inspected the car then, the police officer realizedthat this was a stunt of the driver to extract extra money from me; then he scoldedthe Driver and asked him to drop us at Kochi airport. He started driving us toKochi but stopped running AC in the car, abusing me, threatening me and saying mybrother is at Kochi airport; he will teach you a lesson. He also said that hetook the help of his union to teach us the lesson and take us back to Coimbatoreand we had to miss our flight. he was not stopping the car even to take food. It was our first time in Kerala, and this driver was touching us like anything. kids were crying for food, but he was not stopping the car, not running AC, playing loud Tamil music and doing rash driving. whole the way, he did three things while driving either talking on the phone, doing video calls or running Tamil music at the whole volume. not allowing us even a mobile charging port in the car. 10. After reachingKochi airport, he asked me to pay Rs. 28449/- when I said him about the adjustmentof the amount already paid to him then he refused to admit Rs. 6000/- which hadbeen paid in cash, and Rs. 3000/- which had been paid through google pay; he said that this amount was for extra expenses and you have to pay Rs. 18449/-. WhenI questioned him, he took me to the police booth, and the police said either you pay him thebilled amount, or you go to the police station and file a complaint, and in thisprocess, you have to miss your flight. I did not have any otheroption except to pay him the whole amount demanded by the driver.Accordingly, he hadtaken from me Rs. 31500/- through online payment and Rs. 6000/- Cash, a totalamounting to Rs. 37, 500/- whereas theBilled amount was Rs. 28449/- only. He took 9000/- extra money from me. 11. Not only that, He was doing rash driving and kept talking on the phone while driving, and he was doing video calls while driving. 12. When I requested him to focus on driving gave excuses all the time that he was talking to his office. I was not able to understand his language, but his emotion and facial expression indicated that he was talking to either his girlfriend or wife. Some name was reflected on his screen 'Tia' and 'My sweet wife, etc. I humbly request you to refund the extra money taken by your Driver from us and take appropriate action against him. I hope my issue will be resolved within a short span of time; otherwise, I will be compelled to take legal action against your company.
