Respected sir/madam, I, mahesh kumar is the continuing consumer of idea-vodafone company ltd. For the last 15 years having the mobile no. [protected]. This is to inform you that i have taken the life time plan from this company and i am using very very less out going calls/sms/isd/std internet facility etc. As you can verify from my account detail. Recently, i have received a bill of rs. 262.34 which the very highest bill in my life. After knowing from the customer care of the company they have told me that company has changed my plan. It is very strange that without taking my consent/approval how a company can change my plan or the company have any provision to change the customer's plan at their own. Please let me know the rules in this regards. Further, my email is registered with the company and it is very serious that the company has not taken a step to get the consent/approval of the consumer regarding the change of plan. If a consumer is not interested in any plan of the company, they have to inform the customer in writing that your facility will be stopped from certain date or advise the consumer to take the necessary step whether you want to take the services of the company in future or you want to disconnect your number or not want to avail the services of the company. Now my simple question is that i have to pay the enhanced bill amount which is generated against my mobile number or there is any regulation/law trai had framed against this extra privilege of the company. This my request you to kindly provide me the rules as i have mentioned the facts above and issue a notice to the company to file a reply with cc to me and instruct the company not to charge this bill.
