I am writing to raise a serious concern regarding a recent interaction with vodafone executive and to request immediate corrective action on my account.
On 27th June, I received a call from one of vodafone representatives offering an upgrade to a 5G SIM card along with an additional number. I was clearly and repeatedly assured that my billing amount would remain unchanged. Based on this confirmation, I agreed to the upgrade.
However, upon receiving the additional SIM, I was shocked to discover that my billing has been moved to a ₹701 plan — a complete contradiction of what was communicated to me. This is a clear case of misrepresentation and deceptive sales practice. I feel deeply misled and disappointed, especially considering my loyalty to vodafone company over the past several years.
To make matters worse, I am now being contacted by Vodafone customer care team, who are asking me to call and request the delinking and deactivation of the additional number myself. Let me make it absolutely clear: I did not request or initiate this linkage — it was activated based on false information provided by vodafone representative. Therefore, the responsibility to resolve this issue lies entirely with your team.
I will not be making any calls to request delinking. This dispute originated from vodafone’s end and must be resolved from vodafone’s end. I expect the number to be delinked, deactivated, and my billing plan reverted to the original amount without any further inconvenience to me.
Furthermore, I reiterate my request for immediate closure of my account associated with the new number. I will not accept any additional charges beyond my original plan, and I will not hesitate to escalate this matter further if necessary.
Please confirm the resolution of this issue and account closure at the earliest.
