[Resolved] Relief India Trust — Is this really fake

I have received a call from a person named Ankit. He did the same thing by saying about a girl named Pratigya. That she needed 2 lakhs rupees, but somehow managed to collect around 1.75 lakhs. SO they need some help. They as-usual started saying about their sites and about the patient. Then they asked me to fill a form. When they asked me how much you are donating, i said 500 Rs. But they said please make to 1000 it will help them n all. I said that this is what i can manage. They directly said thank you and cut the call. If they need a donation why it should be 1000 or more. Even 500 is not a less amount to donate. Is this really fake? Are they really cheating.? If they are not registered, why no action has been taken yet. There can be some emotional people who may be donating some big amount but must not be aware of it. Something needs to be done for this.

It is really tough to find out, I used to donate 3000 rs almost every month to one shruti sharma.
But then she calls up and emotionally blackmails to pay more for another kid.
There will be calls and SMS's etc all day long.
Perhaps there will be some amount of geniunity as well but surely the get paid a fat commission on
what they accrue via calls.. least they will not follow up to this degree for more money everytime with everyone
(as we can read in the blogs and complaints )
So it is to a great a degree a money making institution with some amount of payment for medical expenses etc.
essentially to legalize the business.
I am avoiding the calls forthcoming.

My experience went a level ahead. I donot reside in delhi but got a call from delhi. When i said i do charity my own way n cant just go ahead n donate money looking at some website, the agent named ankit got aggresive. I ended up cutting the call n guess whats the result i got 3 smss back to back from the aame no ... emotional blackmail messages like ...dont u have heart... havnt u heard i[censored] help someone, somewill help u inturn, dont you have 100, 50, 10, 2 or 1 rs to spare?... all i could do was smile at the smss because de would have spent good amount of money on std call and smss ... instead if de donated d same for the fake child they wudnt b asking one ruppee from me ... god bless them all with kind heart and right paths to earn money...
