[Resolved] Renault — car got damaged while in custody of evil members renault, service center. also they have rejected my extended warranty | |||
Hi, My problem is 2 fold. 1st issue: I have provided my renault duster (Number : ts xx xx 3563) for servicing at 36k km ecil, hyderabad membi service center (And while i have handed over my car, it was fully functional). The car has been returned to me, and when it was returned, the ac is not working. I have taken the car back to service center and they have informed me that evaporator has got damaged and has to be replaced. My first problem is that the ac got damaged while the car is in your custody and hence the service center should be liable for the damage. 2nd issue : My car is covered under extended warranty. But they have rejected the claim saying that the servicing to be done at 20k kms has been done at 26k kms due to which the claim got rejected. While issuing the extended warranty, this was not informed clearly. Also the renault duster booklet doesn't specifically/ clearly mention that the service has to be maintained at the specific kms. It just says that "vehicle has to be maintained regularly" which is a very generic statement. Also, while i have raised the above 2 concerns with the service center staff, their crm and have escalated it to the next level also, it hasn't been resolved for the past 4 weeks. They say that they are speaking internally to their managers for approval, they always promise to call back but never called back. I have kept patience till now and have been following up with them regularly, but i don't see this progressing any further. Please resolve this for me.
