[Resolved] Renault — Complaint against rejection of warranty claim in spite of the car being within warranty period. | |||||
My renault kwid car bearing registration no. Ar-01-h-6690 (M silver colour), chassis no. Meebba002f8300514, bought from k-square renault, itanagar in the year 2015 broke down due to some technical snag in the engine during the month of march 2017 and it was handed over to the service centre of k-square renault, itanagar for repair. Later on the manager at the service centre informed me that the engine has to be replaced and since the car is still within the warranty period, i was promised that every thing including the engine, except the consumables like engine oil shall be covered under the warranty. Now, after a long wait of more than 3 (Three) months they have replaced the engine, but, they are charging for the repairing/replacement work in spite of the car being within the warranty period (More than rs. 60, 000.00).
