Hello,
I had purchased a renault kwid car from kerala – pathanamthitta showroom on 08-july-2016 but i find lot of discrepancy & am unhappy with the vehicle current performance as well.
Please find the details below:
Payment done to renault showroom panthanamthitta - tvs:
1. 19/04/2016- rs.10, 000/- for booking (Online)
2. 30/06/2016- rs.329, 000/- (Online)
3. 04/06/2016- rs.98, 943/- (Cash) final amount for releasing the vehicle
Grand total of rs. 437, 943/- was paid for the renault kwid top end model as per dealer communication via internet banking & cash.
But, on comparing the detailing specified from the dealer, the following are the breakups:
A) vehicle cost-ex showroom - rs. 386, 399/-
B) road tax - rs. 23, 584/-
C) insurance - rs. 17, 686/-
D) extended warranty - rs. 4, 670/- (No doc received yet, based on quotation)
E) registration charges - rs. 850/-
Grand total of rs. 433, 189/- has been summed with the above breakups with respect to the receipts & documents received from the renault dealer.
It is clearly noticed that an excess amount of rs. 4, 754 has been taken by the showroom without any justification from the dealer.
On the entire process of purchasing a renault vehicle, the following issues we have faced:
• no price list provided
• no demo shown
• nothing explained by renault representative during delivery of the vehicle
• as communication received from madras renault team there was no pooja done for the vehicle, no perfume provided, no photo taken during delivery.
• on delivery of the vehicle, dealer demanded for a sum of rs.6000/- claiming additional accessories causing arguments, demanding for money and also causing stress during the delivery of vehicle.
• excess amount demanded was portrayed as tool kit charges by the sales manager - tvs renault
• insurance company was changed without any notice to us even after highlighting the preferred insurance company.
• idv value of the vehicle specified as rs. 367, 079/- instead of ex-showroom price of rs. 386, 399/-, where we are being cheated of rs. 19, 320. We are not even sure if the insurance covered is bumper to bumper as promised.
• till date we have not received the extended warranty for which the amount was collected.
On vehicle performance front, the following issues are also noticed:
• door opening indicator not working in the instrument cluster
• drive window noise observed during driving & opening of door
• heavy engine noticed within cabin, not sure if the noise shields are in place
• low mileage of 15 kmpl in city drive
• gear shift is very hard, shifting to reverse gear requires 3-4 times try
• lock key not functioning properly
Experiencing the showroom’s representative behavior on delivery, we have got the vehicle to bangalore.
I therefore earnestly request you to kindly look into the matter personally and directives may please be issued to reimburse the excess amount collected, pending documents & also to ensure the vehicle’s current issues are rectified.
