Reserve Bank Of India [RBI] — Pension amount fraud

Address: Syndicate bank vysial street Coimbatore

Respected RBI;
My name is Saroja. I'm 70 years old. I have been receiving the pension amount for past 12 years without any issues at same branch. Here by for RBI'S further enquiry and reference I'm sending this address.
Name of the Bank : Syndicate Bank
Branch Manager's Name : Mr. Sekhar
Address : Syndicate Bank
530, Vysial Street
Coimbatore - 641001
Sub : Complain Registration regarding pension amount fraud .
For the past 12 years, I'm receiving a sum of Rs 2000/- For the past 3 months due to the covid situation i have received my pension amount got delayed to receive. On 7th of October 2020, I went to bank to receive my pension of 6000 Rs/ as 3 months interest. The cashier didn't questioned or enquired the pensioner that how much amount would you like to with draw. The cashier just gave 1000Rs to the pensioner instead of 6000 Rs/.

When she reported to the office not in bank because branch manger was not present on the current day even after the incident. The pensioner went to the goverment staff to ask help. In bank nobody was responsing to her question. Instead of Branch manger's absence, Where was the Assistant Manager. There was no response from any of the employees from bank.

Finally when the pensioner came with the government staff they gave 1330 Rs/ again without paying the complete amount. Finally she received 2300 Rs only. None of the transaction entries have been done at pass book. No messages or SMs Alert have been received from the banks monthly.
The employees of syndicate bank are irresponsible and attitude towards customers
No Proper Guidance.
Not Providing Proper Details of the Pension Amount for the Pensioners.
No Messages Regarding the Transactions.
No Respect towards Senior Citizens.
Fake Entry of Pensioner's Amount mentioning like received by the Pensioners.
All the current information I have received from other branch manager of syndicate bank . Branch manager always he is not at his place to solve the enquiries and problems of customers.
When we reported this issue to the branch manager he told that he will call by evening, There was no response towards the complaint even still now.

A per the RbI norms in case the pensioners receive the amount in a delayed manner the banks should pay 8% as an interest for the pension amount.

Due to this issue bank made that old lady to roam a lot by giving her pressure currently her condition is not good. Here by I request RBI to please take severe action towards this fraud. And RBI should help her to get back the amount with interest and claim as soon as possible. In future she has to receive the pension amount without any problem.

Your's Sincerely
Saroja
