Dear sir,

We had approached utrakhand state tourism department for a trip to utrakhand and they in turn had forwarded our lead to ritual holidays pvt. Ltd. So with an understanding that this particular travel agency is affiliated with state tourism (As also mentioned by them in trail mail) we went ahead and made our travel bookings.

Through this email i would like to lodge a severe complaint against ritual holidays pvt. Ltd. For mis guiding and fleecing us. They had shared an itinerary which was nothing close to how our trip went.
After the trip we realised that the itinerary which was shared in mail was not possible to follow due to the travel time which the travel agency didn't consider only. They just added the tourist spots in each location without considering the transit time.

For your perusal, we have mentioned the transit time we have spent during the trip without any sight seeing. It was more like we were traveling whole day just to go and sleep in a new city/town.

We paid a total amount of ₹ 78269/- (₹20000+38669+19600). Took the most expensive plan they had to offer which is super deluxe plan since it was a family holiday and we were travelling with our children and wanted to it to be absolutely comfortable.

Would like to notify that the flights timing were chosen as per their executive’s go ahead... From kolkata to delhi and back (Pls refer screenshot).

Day 1 - we were out of delhi airport by 10:30am and started our journey only at 11 am since car was parked away from the exit gate. We took lunch break from 11:30 to 12 pm and tea break from 4:10 to 4:30 pm... Reached rishikesh at 6:30pm. Driver didn’t bother to show anything which he was supposed to on the way in haridwar. Being new to the place we trusted that he will take us to place which were promised but nothing like that happened. When questioned he said that with such stops we will not reach rishikesh timely. When we reached rishikesh and only upon our insisting he took us to see ganga aarti and laxman jhula otherwise he wanted to drop us straight to hotel.
(Nothing happened as per itinerary provided)

Day 2 : we started from rishikesh at 9 am and reached joshimath only at 10:35 pm (Took over 13 hours) only breaks that were taken were lunch break from 1:40 pm to 2:30 pm and 4:15 to 4:30 tea break. Did send an email as well to the concerned officer of ritual holiday but they was no revert from him.
(Again nothing happened as per itinerary provided)

Day 3- as per itinerary.

Day 4- left joshmath at 6:15 in the morning and reached dehradun only at 8:30 (Over 14 hours)... No lunch break was taken by us however there was tyre puncture which took almost 30 mins to fix.
(Yet again nothing happened as per itinerary provided)

Day 5- started from dehradun at 9:30am and reached mussorie at 12:30pm.
On the way driver on insisting took us to robers cave when asked about shastradhara.. He said you do either that or kempty falls both cannot be done so we had to skip that.in mussorie he took us to mussorie lake, kempty fall and company garden.
(Partly as per the itinerary)

Day 6 - we stared at 6:45am and we were dropped at delhi airport at 4:30pm so that we can take 7:15 pm flight back to kolkata.in between we took 45 mins lunch break.

Basis this we would request you to kindly refer to below itenary shred by them and our comments above so as to compare what was sold and what actually happened.

Further would like to add that when representative came to us he had assured us two double sharing room but when the mail was sent it had one quad. Wonder how they even thought of fitting 4 adults in one room. When the matter was raised and we refused to accept since it was not what they had told us during their visit, they gave 2 rooms which was initially - verbally assured by them. Had we not read what they had planned to give (Quad) we would have got cheated yet on one more thing by this company.

With this we end our email and we look forward to your kind intervention in this matter so that we get our refund at the earliest.

Some of the major attractions of Mussoorie are, Kempty Falls (among the largest cascades in the state, the Kempty Falls emerge from the mountains and flows down the plains. From bathing in the shallow waters of the falls to fishing and swimming, there are ample activities for visitors to indulge in. NOTES :-
 Complimentary services for child below 5 year will be at the hotels only and will be chargeable if any additional service is availed apart from the services offered.
 Complimentary child will not be given any additional seat in the vehicle, the guests will have to adjust them in the same vehicle.
 AC will not work in hill areas or stopped / parked vehicle
 Vehicle will run only till the point it is allowed in a particular destination, if the guest want to travel/visit beyond that point will have to arrange the local transport by him/her self.
 If Gala dinner on selected date is mandatory in the hotel opted the same will be directly payable by the guest and will be as per the hotel’s policy.
 Offer package cost are valid till 10th Aug 2019 4:00 PM after this regular package cost will be apply.
PAYMENT POLICY :-
 Flight Fare + 25% booking amount of ground package cost to initiate a booking if travel date is more than 30 days from the date of booking.
 75% amount of ground cost (excluding flight cost) after the all confirmation/holding regarding your booking.
 Full payment is required before 10 days of the travel date.
 If the package is booked within 10 days of travel date 100 % amount of total tour cost after the all confirmation/holding regarding your booking.
CANCELLATION POLICY :-
 More than 30 days of travel date 20% of ground package cost
 30 to 21 days before the travel date 40% of ground package cost
 20 to 15 days before the travel date 60% of ground package cost
 14 to 10 days before the travel date 80% of ground package cost
 10 days before the travel date 100% of ground package cost
 Flight cancellation as per airlines policy + service charge + tax.
 Cruise cancellation as per cruise policy + service charge + tax.
 Visa cost total non refundable once visa processed.
 Payment is non refundable if hotels are non refundable.
TERMS AND CONDITION :-
 Rates mentioned above are valid for Indian nationals only until and unless specified along with quotation.
 The quotations are given without holding any confirmed reservations either in the airlines, hotels, cruise and transport. Once the quotation is accepted by the guest and advance amount is deposited either in Cheque / cash to process the reservation, the booking is processed at our end. In case we are unable to get the confirmations then the deposited amount shall be refunded to the guest. For the packages which are booked under our Airline Group Packages the airline tickets might be delivered 2 days before the departure of the group.
 Base category rooms will be booked in Hotels until and unless specified in the quotation. In case the rooms are not available in selected hotel, rooms shall be booked in similar hotel or higher category rooms where you had to paid the differences.
 Any date amendments in the air tickets will be considered as cancellation only and new tickets are issued under new applicable fare at the time of issuance of ticket and cancellation charges are applicable for the cancelled tickets as per airline policy.
 Any amendments in the date or itinerary are to be intimated us in writing and amended confirmation depends on the availability of given hotels on requested dates. Cancellation policy shall be applicable in such case.
 In a tour package, no refund shall be made for unutilized services. It is on guest’s discretion whether to take service or not.
 Please carry your valid Identity proof card (passport in case of International travel) containing your photograph as it is required at the airport and during check in at hotels. Pan card is not a valid identity proof so please don’t carry that with you.
 The check in and check-out time of most of the hotels is 02 PM to 12 PM and number of meals including breakfast is always corresponding to the no. of nights booked by the guest. The hotel does not provide breakfast on the day of arrival.
 For early check in and late check outs payments are to be settled directly by the guest at the hotel.
