Road — Excess and exorbitant toll collected | |||||
Greetings!! I, the undersigned, travel everyday from electronic city (Hosur road) to peenya and back through your nice road (Bangalore) Normally i enter the toll road at electronic city and buy the toll ticket up to link road (Outer ring road) for rs 115/- per travel. Today, 29th june 2016, at 09:31 am (The time printed in the ticket) i was travelling in the same route, and purchased the toll ticket from electronic city to link road for rs 115/-, but since it was heavily raining, i did not exit at link road, and instead decided to exit at tumkur road exit point, by paying additional toll at the exit gate. When i reached the tumkur road toll, the person in the booth demanded rs 118/- additional, and i showed him the ticket that i have already paid rs 115/- and balance rs 40/- only to be paid (As electronic city to tumkur road distance toll is rs 155/-) He started negotiating and finally made me to pay rs 80/- i. E rs 40/- collected more, and since i was getting late to office, i paid him the amount he demanded and left. This is purely a harassment to the commuters by your staff at the toll booths and i need explanation for the above and refund of my money.
