This is a scamming business that asked me to delete my review in a hope of a refund and has now confirmed that I will not be getting refund back to my OG mode of payment but credits.
My reason for return was poor quality fabric and quality of stitching. They have ignored my request and has openly challenged me to take to up with the authorities.
Under Section 2(47) of the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, forcing a customer to accept store credits instead of a refund — when not explicitly agreed upon prior to purchase — amounts to an Unfair Trade Practice.
Additionally, Section 39(1)(d) empowers consumer authorities to direct the seller to refund the price paid in its original form. Since I did not authorize a store-credit-only resolution, you are legally obligated to process a monetary refund.
I request confirmation that my refund will be issued to the original payment method within 7 working days. If this is not resolved, I will proceed to file a complaint with the National Consumer Helpline (NCH) under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, along with a formal case on the Consumer Court portal.
