I, dr. Sharath from sparsh hospital from bangalore.in outer ring road next to my hospital, many trucks move with iron rods projects out without any covering, just putting some plastic cover acting as flag. Which is extremely dangerous because if truck put brak - air brakes it will stop instintly but car or bike coming next-will not& people will die.

Updated by Meghasharath Kote I consulted RTO regarding same, but told they don't have any power other than putting 100 rs fine, and they are suppose not run in peak hours of travel of children but still they run say and they will pay fine.. why there is no strict rules to cancel licence of driver and vehicle and fine upto 100000 fine.. make mandatory rule to pack the tip of iron rod with bags with thermal or thick plastic caps to cover, so that they no longer hurt and ban such vehicle travel during peak hours of travel.
