Respected Sir
On 29th May 2019 a meeting was called by some residents of the society to discuss on the following issues related to working of Pocket K, RWA Sheikh Sarai Phase 2. Registration No. 13567 ( Ref-RWA/SS-II
1. Since the RWA is formed what developments have been undertaken in our colony Sheikh Sarai 2
2. Since so many years no legitimate elections have been held. Last elections were also not heldas per law for which documentary proves are available. Anyway the period of the last election is already overdue and fresh elections as per Association Regulations should be announced immediately without any delay under intimation to Registrar Office and Residents of Sheikh Sarai, Phase-2.
3. No intimation about the audit done of the accounts of the Association have been informed to the Residents for so many years. If audit of the society has been done it should be published publically as residents should be well aware about the same.
4. There have been no general body meeting held for quite a long time whereas as per Law, it should have been held regularly. Can the present executive clarify the reasons/circumstances for not holding such meetings and taking ad-hoc decisions
5. Currently what activities are in progress to develop the society and making the society a friendly place for residents.
6. As per Society Act, executives and members of the Associations should be residents of the Pocket K Sheikh Sarai Phase-2 (those who have proper electricity and water bills in their names). Also Government servants and tenants have no legal right for these posts. But we noticed that these points have been ignored and violated and non eligible persons have been working in the present association, which is absolutely wrong.
We request RWA to kindly come openly in front of the public and reply to these important issues and immediately announce fresh Association elections in Sheikh Sarai Ph 2.
