This is with reference to waybill number 46904605.
I (krishnapriya) had booked campus to home service from icar-iari, pusa campus, new delhi to karathozhuvu, madathukulam, tirupur district, tamil nadu, on[protected]. i sent three boxes totalling 58 kg. safe extension charges of rs.750/- was also paid by me to ensure the boxes reaches home. the packages reached pollachi on[protected]. the consignee (mr. k. thangavel) received a call from mr. ramakrishnan of pollachi safexpress office ([protected]). mr. ramakrishnan stated that he will not be able to deliver the package to my house, and would deliver only up to his territory limits. after hearing this information, i myself contacted mr. ramakrishnan (safexpress) and persuaded him to deliver the package to my house.inspite of my request, the boxes were not delivered to my home. it was kept at a place 10 km away from my home, and the consignee (mr thangavel) had to bring it home on his own expenses.
I wish to know the purpose of charging additional amount of rs 750/- from me when the package was not delivered up to my home. when the consignee (on my behalf) had to collect the packages from elsewhere, it defeats the purpose of campus to home. Was this information helpful? |
