Samsonite India — Company has denied repairing/replacing damaged Bag under warranty Period

Purchased Samsonite Syncomm 66cms from Travel Shop, Parel on 02.12.2014. The Stitching of the bag has come off and also the lock is not working and hence defective and not usable.
The bag was given for repairs/replacement to Travel Shop Vide their receipt No.51826 Dt.01.07.2017. Upon further inquiry with the shop, w e were informed that Company Samsonite has denied repairing/replacing the defective Bag.

I had bought a bag of American Tourister last month when i was looking for a bag they said it is an waterproof one. When I used in rain with all the cover they had provided with the bag. even though the things inside the bag became wet and a few important documents got wet(not drenched). so what is the use of buying an water resistant bag!!!
