Urgent: Samsonite Product Issue Despite 10-Year Warranty
I'm writing to bring to your attention an issue with my Samsonite product, which is covered under your 10-year warranty.

Despite minimal use, my Samsonite bag has sustained damage that, in my opinion, should not have occurred so soon. As a loyal customer who values the quality and durability promised by Samsonite, I'm disappointed by this experience.

I kindly request your prompt assistance in addressing this matter and upholding the terms of the warranty. Your attention to this issue is crucial in restoring my trust in Samsonite as a reliable brand.

      Hello,
      I purchased the product mentioned above (Offline) saying this is for my girlfriend and I will need to return if she does not like it. I then tried to return it in store, in original condition within a week (From where i bought it) and they refused to take it back. On the Terms and conditions online it says a product can be returned if the customer is unhappy. Paying such high prices for a backpack and getting such terrible services, Some replies on emails even taking a couple of days, some replies after 3-4 emails. Terrible service, I do not need any product from a company where the staff is not professional. I do not trust a brand like this and would like a full refund. I still have the product unused and in Original state.

          I am regular user of Samsonite luggage,
          Purchased this Suitcase in 2018, used only 3-4 times during my recent air travel post COVID time, developed crack which is unexpected,
          Appears material defective.
          Samsonite India customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
          Though I received a call and assured of replacement, my problem not yet resolved

            I purchased a Samsonite Business Spectrolite 2.0 on July 14th, 2019 in Bangalore. After using it for just a year, I started to see the quality of the bag. Threads and material started coming off.
            I really didn't expect this kind of quality from Samsonite after paying 10K for this bag.
            I really need a replacement for this bag as I have hardly used it as a COVID hit for almost 2 and a half years.
            I tried calling customer care and guess what? A security guard has picked up the call and said all the staff are on leave as painting work is going on.
            I'm looking forward to the team contacting me as soon as possible.

              I immediately approached Telephone Shoppe regarding same as they have not informed me the same

                I bought an American tourister brand “Kamiliant” bag (owned by Samsonite) from D-mart on Dec-21 which is having global warranty of 3 years. Now the bag’s handle has become dis-functional can’t go up or down so I went to their store in DLF Mall of India, Noida for replacement of part under warranty on 4th July’2022 but since then I haven’t heard from them as to when do I get this replacement or service done. I called store twice in this period they are not really aware by when this would be replaced or serviced.

                  I have placed two complaints already on this website. Regarding a bag that i purchased on 16th June 2022 and they sold me an old stock of 2019 and now th bag is tearing off without using it much.

                  I AM UPSET WITH SAMSONITE AND THIS PLATFORM AS NEITHER OF THEM IS CONCERNED ABOUT THE CONSUMERS.
                  SAMSONITE DOESNT HAVE A FUNCTIONAL CUSTOMER CARE NUMBER AND THAT CLEARLY SHOWS HOW MUCH OF RESPONSIBILITY THEY HOLD TOWARDS THEIR ACTIONS.

                  I WANT THIS ISSUE TO BE RAISED FURTHER AS CLEARLY CONSUMERCOMPLAINT. IN HASNT HELPED ME MUCH IN THE ISSUE.

                    This FRAUD COMPANY American tourister by Samsonite SOLD ME A 2019 MANUFACTURED BAG AND JUST 25 DAYS INTO THE USAGE FOR NOT MORE THAN 3 -4 TIMES, THE BAG IS TEARING OFF ITSELF COZ OF THE OLD MATERIAL USED. The images clearly show the lines and the holes. Just like old sarees when the material is old it forms holes and tears that's exactly the case. I see that this platform hasn't taken my case seriously yet as this is the 2nd time i am complaining. American tourister has no customer call number that is functioning. Their dealers are absolutely ruthless and rude.

                    I hope i am respected as a customer.

                    I EXPECT THIS PLATFORM TO TAKE THIS SERIOUSLY AND GET ME A REPLACEMENT.

                      I bought AMERICAN TOURISTER (Samsonite) company's bag. I must say they TURNED TO BE THE WORST AND NEED AN AWARD IN CHEATING AND MISLEADING CONSUMERS.

                      1. They sold me a bag manufactured 3 yrs ago ( 2019 manufacturing).

                      2. I purchased the bag just on 16th of JUNE 2022 (just been 20 days now) and haven't used it except twice. The bag has deleveloped a HOLES in multiple places and the paint is gone too.
                      The so called agents of these companies are absolutely careless, rude towards consumer and IMPORTANT THEY ARE RELUCTANT TO EXCHANGE OR REPLACE THE BAG EVEN ME WITHOUT USING IT even when I have WARRANTY OF 1 YR.

                      THEY MENTION IT TO BE WORLDWIDE SERVICE, BUT THE 2 SHOPS I WENT TO NEVER EVEN WERE READY TO HEAR THE STORY.

                      3. They DONOT have a costumer care number ( the one mentioned on their website and the one on warranty card doesn't work). Just given a number for name sake.

                      4. SELLING ME A 3 YRS OLD BAG WHICH IS USUALLY THE LIFESPAN OF A BAG AND LATER BLAMING THESE DAMAGES ON ME IS ABSOLUTELY RECKLESS, PAINFUL AND IRRITATING!

                      THIS FRAUD BY THE COMPANY REALLY NEEDS A NICE BEATING FROM THE CONSUMERS.

                          I am a loyal Samsonite customer. I had purchased 5 samsonite trolley suitcases from Bagzone, Abids, Hyderabad on
                          17th december 2019, amounting to Rs. 70, 000.

                          The purchased luggage is still under GLOBAL LIMITED WARRANTY.
                          I had couriered one of the bags to Pune via Tirupati couriers, Hyderabad, in May 2022.
                          But unfortunately, the bag was damaged in transit. one of its side edge and wheels were damaged.
                          I had gone to the store from where I had purchased the bag and requested them to repair it since it was nearly new, as it had been unused since 2019 (due to covid travel restrictions) till may 2022.
                          The authorized personnel at the store politely explained to us and helped us with the service centre person who came to examine the bag and he too politely declined their( company's) inability to repair the bag. The store incharge also suggested that we write to the company regarding the same.

                          This is not a complaint against Bagzone for their inability to repair the bag, since it is clearly mentioned in the waranty that the bag will not be taken up for repairs:

                          This warranty covers only manufacturing defects and does not cover any damage caused by misuse (such as transportation o[censored]nusual items), neglect, accidents, abrasion, exposure to extreme temperatures, solvents, acids, water, normal wear and tear or transport damage (by airlines for example).

                          This is a question for Samsonite, one of the world's leading luggage companies( and the only trustworthy company for people like me, who feel that all other luggage companies do not exist, except SAMSONITE.)
                          in your warranty page it is mentioned that:

                          REPAIRS PERFORMED BY ANYONE OTHER THAN AN AUTHORIZED REPAIR AGENT WILL VOID THIS WARRANTY.

                          here i would like to ask my most trusted brand, how and where should i get my bag repaired if your authorized service centre/ company is unable to help me out?
                          since according to your warranty rules, if I get the bag repaired from somewhere else, my warranty becomes void.

                          the courier company is dilly dallying and denying that the bag was damaged from their side.
                          The Samsonite sevice centre is unable to take up the repairs since it does not come under their limited global warranty rules.

                          I would like a solution as to what should i do with bag, since i am unable to take it to other repair centres and SAMSONITE is unable to repair it.
                          PLEASE EXPLAIN : HOW CAN A COMPANY WHO HAS MANUFACTURED THE BAG, BE UNABLE TO REPAIR IT?
                          I am willing to pay the charges to get it repaired from the company.
                          through this forum, which seems to be helping consumers with their issues with companies,
                          I hereby request the concerned people to help me out, as the bag is too dear and expensive at the same time.

                          I am anticipating an early and positive reply through this forum, since I am left with nowhere to go. which will allow me to henceforth come to this forum with any other issue.

                          please beware !!! fraudulent activities gathering your information from this website is rampant. Today i nearly had to forgo a huge amount talking to a fraudster, saying he is from samsonite, delhi office... Guys please please check the phone number through true caller first.. I am deleting my post since it has already been sent to samsonite india..
                          I made a mistake o[censored]ploading my invoice and other pics, which the scamster got hold of and nearly made me pay as refund voucher from samsonite...

                              I had purchased a backpack from samsonite website and cancelled it within a few hours. It's been 15 days and I am still waiting for a response for my dozens of emails written to samsonite let alone my refund. It is just horrible. I tried calling their mumbai office and nobody is picking calls. Is this a scam or what?

                                  I had purchased Samsung Galaxy S22 ultra phone from Samsung Shop app. I had placed order on 22 February 2022 and i got the delivery on 7th March 2022 after 2 days o[censored]se i found that the phone has defects that are battery draining very quickly and auto touch happening, thus i approached samsung service center and i followed all processes but still they are saying phone is like that only its normal. I have video proofs of defect found but they are not ready to accept it. It is under 14 day policy of piece to piece replacement policy when i raised query. I am not getting any response from them. Please help me our what can i do now.
