I had purchased three raas kadam (Cham cham) from saroj sweets on july 20 @ about 5.30 pm. While eating the said sweets @ 8 pm same day, we consumed one piece and while eating another, noticed live worm in it. We clicked picture (Attached herewith) as also have a video (Can be shared if required) of worm moving around the sweet. Immediately, my wife took it to the shop @ 9 pm, wherein their shop manager (Vijay patil) checked the pieces. He noticed another worm on the 3rd piece and acknowledged it. Complain given on note is also attached and so is purchase invoice. Shop management is not ready to act on this and is taking it lightly. My wife experienced food poisoning on next day of consumption.in larger extend, such nuisance can lead to fatality as well. It needs to be taken up seriously with the shop owner, despite their reputation of 50 years of serving. Request you to look into this very seriously and keep me posted.
