Background
In September 2023, I visited Sathya Agencies (Nagercoil) to purchase an iPhone 15 Pro. I clearly requested AppleCare+, but their sales executive strongly recommended Onsitego’s iProtect Gold, saying it was:
• Superior to AppleCare
• Offered full device coverage with no exclusions
• Guaranteed instant replacement or full refund for any issue
• Included a free upgrade to a newer model within two years
• Was recognized by Apple and provided seamless service
• Based on these claims, I paid ₹21, 900 extra in good faith.
The Truth Emerges
When I needed support, Apple informed me that:
The warranty is not affiliated with them
The coverage doesn’t exist as promised
My phone is effectively unprotected and ineligible for AppleCare
No One Took Responsibility
When I reached out:
Sathya Agencies said: “Talk to Onsitego; we just sell the plan.”
Onsitego said: “These promises weren’t made by us. Ask Sathya Agencies.”
I was stuck in a loop of blame, with neither party accepting accountability — even after dozens of emails, calls, and visits.
An Offer That Crossed the Ethical Line
After repeated follow-ups and heated conversations, an executive finally made an offer:
They would give me a refurbished phone — but only if I intentionally damaged my existing one.
I was shocked.
I refused immediately, stating this was unethical and unacceptable.
After that, I requested an upgrade instead, but even that was denied.
At that moment, I realized: Resolution was never the goal — avoidance was.
The Real Cost of Misrepresentation
This is not just about a ₹21, 900 warranty. The total loss includes:
• ₹1, 30, 000+ for the iPhone
• ₹21, 900 for a misrepresented warranty
• Emotional stress
• Wasted hours of follow-ups
• Missed opportunities
• Deep distrust in brands I once respected

They have only responded like this. No one took responsibility.
Let me wait this time also to see who takes responsibility.
