[Resolved]  Sathya — Shifting Issues-Internet Connection not provided.

I have been using ACT Fibernet (previously Beam) in Hyderabad for the past three years. I have had no issues till then. I shifted to my new apartment in April of this year (just a couple of streets away) in the same locality. We had earlier checked with ACT to confirm if the internet connection can be shifted and they advised that it will be, without any hassles. Post shifting to the new house, the trouble started. They advised that they cannot shift the connection as there are no server pins available. When I raised a complaint, one of the engineers called and advised that this can be done within three weeks and asked time till the last week of May'15. Post that, there was no confirmation nor resolution from ACT. I have made numerous follow ups and calls, but in vain. Last week, I went to the Regional Office at Banjara Hills, Road No 10 to file a complaint. The staff spoke to the engineer and gave me the same response that server pins were full and it cannot be accommodated and asked me to go to Branch Office in Kukatpally. I spoke to the Manager who confirmed to me that we will get this done for you and to allow them 24 hours time. It has been a week now and NIL response. Again, when I call ACT Fibrenet, they have no clue of whats happening. 1. Being a loyal customer for 3 years, paying my bills on time, what is the problem in restoring the internet connection? 2. The service engineer advised me that they have got approval for a new server board which will be installed in three weeks and I should be getting my internet connection. However, it seems like he was trying to get rid of me. 3. If the server pins are full, it means that there are other customers waiting for ACT connection and if they install the new server board, wont it be getting them more business? 4. The complaint has been closed saying that ACT connection is not available in our locality. That is ridiculous as my whole apartment has ACT fibernet and so the colony as well.
