Saudia Airlines — Rude behavior by officials and declined boarding at checking baggage counter

On 09/10/2023 My flight was at 8 pm and I reached the airport 4 hours prior to my boarding. I was flying from Indra Gandhi International airport to Jeddah and then from Jeddah to Cairo via Saudi Airlines and from Cairo to Zurich. My final destination was Toronto via Swiss Airlines. I reached the airport at 16:15 and went to the baggage counter. there the official first weighed my check-in luggage and questioned me if I have the Cairo Visa. I told them its my layover and for more than 48 hours transit visa is not required. Then he called his manager named Shams Tabir. He was DO there and told me u cannot transit more than two countries. its against the rules. I asked him where it is written and these are my just layovers. He asked me to forward him my college offer letter and asked me to wait for 20 minutes. I waited for more than 20 minutes and asked him he said that he has forwarded my documents to the higher office and to Jeddah. asked me to wait more as it will take some time. I asked him how much will it take. He just said it will take time. I asked for his contact details he refused and gave his secretary number. I waited again for more than half an hour. Around 1830 he calls me to the counter and tells me he got the conformation and was ready to prepare the Itenary. In the meantime my parents were also getting mentally and physically harassed in the scorching heat of Delhi. The supervisor was having difficulty in reading the flight timings and the layovers. I mean they just sit around for getting paid. They have no Idea there what actually their job is. He even required his manager's help to just prepare the basic itenary. his head shows up and then he starts preparing it. Already one hour was gone and it was 1930. after reviewing my ticket for my last destination to YYZ he says that it is a four digit flight LX4640 and is a codeshare flight and misses to read that it is operated by Air Canada. I told them if It was a codeshare flight, how can they accept my tickets. They denied my boarding as they believed that I will be deported from Zurich as it was not operated by Swiss Airlines. I told them that Air Canada is govt operated and u are getting assurance and I am ready to take my risk. both of them raised their voices and said that we are not ready to take it. I mean I paid the money form my pocket and I have the valid student visa from Canadian embassy. they have no right to deny my on boarding. It was issued by Canada embassy. these mindless bots waisted my time and money. It was a horrific experience and I would suggest anyone to not book their flights from saudia Airlines.
