Hi,
I received offer from Savethedeals.in yesterday stating 6 cinema tickets at rs.50. I clicked the link where it asked me to enter the email address. Before entering the email address, I have read their terms and conditions where they have clearly mentioned that I will be charged rs.50 for 72 hours trial period. If I do not subscribe before the end of the 72 hour trial period then automatically it will become a paid monthly subscription of rs.1680. I was given the 72 hour trial period on the payment page stating that I have to pay only rs.50 but still they have taken rs.1730 (Rs.1680 + Rs. 50) which I did not authorize.
I have contacted my bank and raised a dispute on the transaction. As the merchant did not claim the amount yet, bank has advised to wait and then they will be able to do further investigation. I have also send email to the savethedeals.in customer service but they didn’t reply yet and I am sure they will not as they are Fraud Company. I have unsubscribed from their services and received confirmation that I have been unsubscribed and would not be charged Rs 1680 longer. I have still called my bank and blocked the card as I have been people getting billed even after unsubscribing from the services.
I will fight to the finish and would be great if someone can help in getting the money from the mouth of Fraudsters.
