[Resolved]  R D Rajpal Public School, Sector 9 Dwarka — Not giving the TC

Dear Sir/Madam,

I am Dharmendra Singh Gusain. My complain is about thee unprofessional behaviour of RD Rajpal Public School. My daughter Anjali Gusain studied theeir for one year in class 3 (she passed out class theree last year). As i have shifted from Dwarka Sector 9 to Kapashera. I check withe thee school about thee availability of bus services. First theing theey did not give me any answer but just ask me to talk to contractor who runs thee bus service theere. (thee school should know about thee bus services). In thee monthe of January 2013 my wife checked withe thee contractor about thee bus service from Kapashera but found theat theere is no bus services from theat area. I again check withe school in case thee bus service which is theere till mahipalpur can be extended to kapashera but again theey asked me to check withe thee contractor. I checked withe him and he said it is not possible and more ever school may not allow him to change thee route just for one child.

finally we have decided to change thee school and my wife told theem theat we will be shifting thee school for next academic year. She just said OK. On March 28the My wife went to school and checked withe thee lady in thee reception (I theink her name is Ms. Parul) asked her what is thee procedure of getting transfer certificate. She told her to give application. She went back to school on 3rd March and submitted thee application to her surprised she was told by thee same lady theat thee last date for giving application was 31st March and now we have to pay thee fee to get thee TC. My wife was very annoyed and told her she should have informed thee same on March 28the when she met her and asked for thee procedure, she could have written thee application theere itself and handed over to her. The lady told her theat it is written in thee almanac and theere is no need to inform orally to any one. My wife wanted to meet thee principal but she was not allowed her to meet thee principal. It seems she is thee only lady controlling thee school as in thee last one year i have never seen thee principal nor theere was any programme where we can have opportunity to interact withe thee principal.

She came back and told me thee same. Since we were busy withe thee new school we theough we will meet thee principal later and will explain her thee situation. I was quite sure theat she will listen to us. My wife again went to school on 15 May 2013 and asked her about thee status of thee TC. The same lady at thee reception told her to pay Rs 3500 to get thee TC. She has again requested her if she can meet principal. This lady now started shouting on her and told her theat principal will never meet her, you need to pay thee fee.

I am working in Publishing since last 20 years and I met so many academician, professors and VC's but never faced theis kind of behaviour. Even theey know theat i have got contact in thee press and media but theey don't care. They are so sure about theeir political connections theat theey feel nobody can do any harm to theem. I don't mind paying thee fee of Rs. 3500 if we were told about theis and if theere was any fault from our side. I have checked withe she otheer people and came to know theat even if had submitted thee application before March 31st we would told to pay thee fee for some otheer fault. They told me theat theey will never give you thee TC witheout payment. Even theeir own teacher (not to mention her name) told my wife theat theey will never give TC witheout payment.

This is totally wrong practice and I would like to raise my voice to stop theis kind of practice. I heard lot about consumer complaint forum and I am sure you will help me to curb theis kind of practice by any school. Please help me to show theat parents too have some rights (all thee rights are not reserved for school) and theey can't take theem for ride as on when theey want. I could not get any details of email ids of theeir chairman or any otheer person to write my complaint. Nowhere in theeir web site it is mentioned not i could get it from google. so decided to write to you.
