[Resolved] Sharekhan — delay payment from 2012 | |||
The broker was handling my account including options & derivatives. There was a dealer in their chennai alwarpet branch (Which is now closed and the members have been moved to some other branch). My account id is 1536827 for equity segment. In 2012, senthil had shorted usd-inr combination and the trade went wrong. There was a loss of 40000 rupees, which i had to bear. Further to this, i had told senthil to stop all trading in my account. However, he kept the usd-inr short trade open and there was a further loss of 20, 000. Since 2012, i had told them that i can bear only part of the loss as i did not approve of the trade. I also gave them a cheque, but the broker returned the cheque to me. Now, despite several calls to close the balance, sharekhan has been compunding interest and now reporting a negative 64314 to the exchange. This is unacceptable as the dealer who was involved in the trade is not working with sharekhan. The new branch also does not have any details of the trade as the old branch had shut down operations.
