[Resolved] Sharekhan — spamming via email | |
This company regularly sends out around 6-7 trading related emails everyday, which i am not able to turn off. I have called their customer care person who told me to create a rule in my email to send those emails automatically to trash. They have provided an unsubscribe button but it doesn't work. The emails are sent to my inbox from different emails such as: [protected]@mailer. Skcomtrade.com [protected]@mailer. Sharekhan.com [protected]@mailer. Sharekhan.com Fundamental. [protected]@sharekhan.com The company has no explanation for why the unsubscribe button doesnt work. And after months of cleaning up my inbox everyday, i have had enough, and so i have come here to put in a complaint because i'm sure i am not the only one. These emails are cluttering my workspace and even after i stop using their service, these emails dont stop coming because they arent exactly 'spam'. But they come as frequently as spam. Everyday there are atleast 5-6 emails which i'm not interested in, and cannot even block. Was this information helpful? | |

Do you know the definition of spam, Sherlock?
These indian startups have no ethical boundaries really. Seems the practice of buying emails in bulk is the only way they know to try and get customers.
