I have registered for shiksha for best college searching but they have circulated my number all over India and I have been receving call from every other college even those I have not listen the name till now and these calls are frequent and they have not provided any option to delete the account. This is not fare

    Hi,

    Please de-activate my account in Shiksha.com. I’m unable to to do it as this option is not available in their site (shikara.com). I’m getting multiple calls from random people asking me to hoping their college for distance MBA which. I’ve nowhere agreed to take up MBA. Misleading information is sent out outsiders by sharing my contact number.

    Please stop this!!

    Looking forward to an immediate resolution on this.

    My registered mail id in a Shiksha.com is ‘[protected]@gmail.com’. Please erase my account along with my contact number.

      I want my account to be deleted as soon as possible. I made that account as my friend needed help and moreover she was not matching there criteria of counseling services which she needed . However her work is done so we do not require that account anymore and I am unable to deactivate or delete my account kindly help.

          Hi, i recently made an account on shiksha.com and my personal number got circulated by them to various places. The number was asked for otp purpose. I keep receiving calls from them regarding masters courses. I need them to stop because i've already taken admission else where for the same. There is no way online to deactivate my account on the actual website. So please deactivate my account and stop all the calls.

            Shiksha.com is quite unethical in not providing an easy way to delete account. I have to complaint here to have my account delete. There is no option to delete account on the website. This is disgusting. Utter disregard for ethics. Please have my account deleted. And I will never ever associate myself with shiksha.com or use any of its services nor would I let anyone else to do so.

            Updated by uyguyhuhi             Why is this compalint marked as resolved even though my account is still active? I was not even contacted by anyone regarding it. I see. So all the complaints marked as resolved are fake. This is really disturbing. They are blatantly lying now.

                Please look into the matter and delete the comment. If possible i would like to request the credentials on culprit.

                I suspect someone used their email id and number but used my name. This is important since i am a trusted student in my community and this affects my reputation.

                  I want to delete my account and phone number

                  I'm receiving junk mails and phone calls from this website
                  and I don't find any option to deactivate my account.
                  Even though I have unsubscribe the email still I'm receiving mails
                  its totally irritating and I have completed my college still getting counselling calls...

                          You have been spreading my number to different portals and I’ve been getting random calls everyday. I don’t want my info to be on your site. Please delete my account. I want to deactivate my account and I don’t want any more people to call me or receive my information. It has caused major distress cause may portals have received my info and I haven’t even inquired. People have been rude cause I’ve denied needing or wanted their services.

                                    Please delete my account from your horrible site. You don't have any option to deactivate an account on your site which is a gross breach of privacy. You have all the details such as our mobile number, email id and such and share it with third parties and then dont even have the option to delete the account. I pretty sure you are breaking a lot of laws just by not offering to delete our accounts. This is horrible as i keep getting useless calls from all kinds of people asking me to join their college.
