Shine Learning — Fraudulent Job Seeker Portal - Shine.com

Address:India
Website:www.shine.com

I had received this call to provide Job hunting services from Shine.com.
Upon agreeing to provide to their services to highlight my application for an annual charge of Rs. 3657/- post 15 mins the call was transferred to a Senior Consultant who requested for an additional charge of Rs 6000/- to complete the application process which I was not being informed of earlier.
I suggested that i do not require the enhancement package and refused to pay the additional sum, this lead to the Senior consultant Shouting on top of his voice stating 'If you don't pay up then we cannot proceed with this application' and simply slammed the phone.
It was an unusual demand and I was caught off guard by the behavior.
No sooner at that moment i had dropped an email for refund to my surprise the Email i Received had an Explicit footer highlighting there is ' No Refund Policy' - This should have ideally been informed to the me right in te start. In my opinion this is a complete fraudulent site and process to dupe active job seekers in the market. I request for a complete refund for the inconvenience and agony caused of demanding money. Its a painful time people without jobs and sites like these are a perfect nightmare.
They harp about being a part of Hindustan Times which i now doubt, but if that is true i would like to take this up with the Hindustan times as well.
Requesting remittance f my charges at the earliest
