Once you reach nepal, you are completely on your own and no one will take care of your needs. If you need to shop, your co-travelers will take you along with the only intention of sharing the cost of the taxi or jeep to fulfill their own agendas. This is particularly the case with the south indian fellow travelers, who can be selfish, greedy and calculating. If they want to shop, they will wait and shop but if it is you, then you have to stop your shopping midway as if you are their servant or something. Shivam charges a hefty sum of money for their car services. Moreover, if you do not have more money, they will do nothing to help you or protect you. Typical south indian people! Moreover, nepal is not safe. Even if you maybe from a decent family, you may become a target of some unknown stalker like i almost was today even if you are just returning from a local shop. Shivam is highly money minded and does nothing to protect its yatris or take them shopping independently. Even if we have paid them already, we still have to depend on our fellow travelers for safely going places. Moreover, my fellow travelers are always busy shooting selfies but they never give other people who are traveling with them time to do what they want and what they have come here for other than their pilgrimage, which is shopping for curios. South indians are the worst cotravelers one could ever ask for. Was this information helpful? |
