Shivam group is only interested in making money by barring you from going on the 3 day parikrama. They charged us extra for staying in the lodge at the base of the mountain since we were not allowed to go on the 3 day parikrama and it was they who barred us and not the chinese government unlike what they claim the situation is. Fraud in the name of god. Keep it up, shivam. Good work. Cheat more innocent people like this and you will keep...

Not only did we suffer despite paying a lot of money to these Madrasis but we were also insulted by those squint eyed Nepali nurse and doctor sahyatris named Meera and Sabina, who called us mentally disturbed despite my being a triple postgraduate. I was shocked to learn that Mr. Senthil did the same thing last year by putting two warring groups together deliberately and that it resulted in a worse fight than this one. He made us wait in...

regionalism and total lack of reverence for god
The day after we were denied the 3 day parikrama even though we were healthy and cleared our oxygen and other tests citing my age as being above 65, mr. Senthil asks a lady from chennai older than even i to go on the 3 day parikrama just because she is from chennai. My daughter was constantly being pressured indirectly to get married, which is her personal life and choice. If it is lord shiva, who is a vairagi, they will worship him while wearing 3 layers of vibhuti or sacred ash all over the body like crazy without understanding the meaning or respecting the decisions of other people, who might be thinking like lord shiva himself or might be enjoying their own life without bothering others. After all, even unmarried people are the children of vishwanatha or lord shiva. Shivam is a commercial group and they issue a commonly printed certificate to everyone stating lies under the name of lord shiva that they crossed the dolma la pass bravely. This agency should be taken to task by the government for cheating people in the name of god.

a few xenophobic travelers
One of these nepalese girls, who made fun o[censored]s, was vomiting for half an hour at night the last time we shared a room with them out of sheer tolerance for humanity rather than for other cultures. Then, that girl started to ask me personal questions, which i did not like and we had to put up with those two princesses, who talked to our guide making us give up on our cots as we moved in with them. Though she blocked the bathroom for half an hour to vomit, we never said anything to them about their culture or anything else. Then, the moment i started doing pranayama, she imitated us and she felt better. Again, when we needed to repack our items constantly because shivam never briefed us just when we began booking and paying for our trip as to how the number of things we would need to carry would reduce over the days to come, these girls would make fun o[censored]s saying that we were responsible for their lack of sleep. They forget though how indian pranayama that the very indian god mahadeva or shiva, whom they have come to visit, helped her to stop vomiting instantly. They only care about themselves and try to do their best to interfere in the lives of others. Shivam nepal should have never given them so many liberties. Whenever i gave them a piece of my mind, they would mock me more and more while forgetting the purpose for which they have come here. They just keep on putting make-up instead of praying to god to help them. Even if we talk to each other, we are the victims of their mockery. I will suggest to giri trading to stop spoiling their name by associating with shivam yatra. We never had the privacy to change our dresses or even freedom to talk to each other while they were mocking us. God help such people. Instead of feeling comfortable, we felt like we were being held hostage by these two.

the worst ever tour group
The guides give preferences to 2 nepali girls, who speak nasty things about the people from india, who are coming to kailash mansarovar, purely for pilgrimage purposes. They do not respect the customs and traditions of indian people. Even the yatris from chennai are not helpful or humanitarian. They just distribute prasadams for their own good but when it comes to adjusting with their own people or supporting them, they just run away and start doling out unsolicited advice. Today, mr. Senthil informed us that 10 people cannot go on a full parikrama of 3 days and then he tells me that he cannot adjust or put us into separate rooms. This yatra service is poor in quality and they only favour nasty nepali people, who are way too talkative and interfering. Moreover, they just keep commenting on people from international waters without even thinking that it is possible that they might understand their nepali language. They are cruel but mr. Senthil is a coward, who just forced us to stay with negative people, who are capable of ruining our yatra for which we have paid through our nose. He has not even helped us by changing the room and those nepalese people are constantly making fun o[censored]s. I will never recommend this crappy and disorganized south indian tour group to anyone. They are all rigid and keeping foreign tourists on tenterhooks all the time instead of clearly briefing them months in advance unlike other tour groups elsewhere. They exhibit partiality to make money from the sentiments of good people.

Once you reach nepal, you are completely on your own and no one will take care of your needs. If you need to shop, your co-travelers will take you along with the only intention of sharing the cost of the taxi or jeep to fulfill their own agendas. This is particularly the case with the south indian fellow travelers, who can be selfish, greedy and calculating. If they want to shop, they will wait and shop but if it is you, then you have to...
