Order number : 20847039 I had the following bad experience with Shopclues. 1) Delayed Delivery due to non availability of product. 2) Wrong product delivered 3) Password recovery service not working. 4) Refund not processed. 5) Public comments on the product not displayed. This is my experience with Shopclues. I ordered this product in September 21, 2014 which cost Rs 279. Upon the delivery date, I received E-mail saying the product is not available. The mail also suggested that I switch the vendor and get the same product. So I followed up ( Order no:[protected]. Finally, after missing two more delivery date. I got a delayed delivery of the product on October 15. On opening the package, It was found that the delivered product was wrong one. Whatever was delivered was clearly not worth the money I payed and it was not what I was looking for. SO in order to raise a refund request, I tried logging in. But, I had forgotten my password. The option to recover my password did not function for at least 4 days. And calls to the Non-Toll-Free customer care also did not help. So after four days when new password was set, a refund request was raised. Since I had changed the vendor earlier, my order ID was changed and product cost less than what I spent originally. The refund amount mentioned also was less than what was spent. I again corresponded with Shopclues customer support, where in they assured me that the request will be processed in two weeks. The time expired long time ago. I called a couple of times to the customer support again to no avail. I still have not received the refund, where as they sent mail saying that the refund request is processed. I tried raising a comment on Shopclues website to inform others from falling into the trap. The comment did not surface on the website. I want to raise a complaint against Shopclues and want the refund of money spent(Rs 279/-) and losses incurred due to the dealing with Shopclues. Jan 6, 2016 Complaint marked as Resolved Shopclues did a refund of the money although delayed, this is more than what I hoped for.
They did not pick up the product, considering the product was clearly not worth the transit.
My evaluation of the product, it would cost around 50 Rs and Shopclues clearly understands that pickup of the product is not cost-effective.
I hope Shopclues does not repeat this. | |||
