Updated by Mohsin Mohammad Well, I received another email on October 31 (Refer to attachment 10) stating that the order is “Complete”. Not sure how they can say Order is Complete when they had not delivered the product. Moreover, they stated in their email on October 27 (Refer to attachment 7) that they will provide the Proof of Delivery within 7 business days. Still ShopClues has marked the order as complete.
I checked the order detail page on the ShopClues Website and now it shows a new delivery date of October 31 (Refer to attachment 11). Earlier it was showing as Delivered on October 16 (Refer to attachment 8).
Yesterday (Nov 2), I got a call from Startrek Logistics (Courier Company) stating that they have to deliver a Sofa Set which was picked up from Iris Furniture (Manufacturer) on Nov 25. Finally, they delivered the Sofa around 9:50 PM on Nov 2, 2016. The courier person refused to provide an open delivery.
While opening the packages we found that the Sofa Set has 4 cuts/defects (Refer to attachments 14 to 17) in the PU Leather cover. It appears these cuts occurred while in transit.
Issue history and lies from ShopClues
1. Initially Order page of ShopClues website showed delivered on October 16, 2016 (Refer to attachment 8).
2. Now Order page of ShopClues website is reflecting delivered on October 31, 2016 (Refer to attachment 10).
3. ShopClues email on October 21, stated order was delivered on October 21, 2016 (Refer to attachment 4).
4. I spoke to ShopClues customer service informing them about not receiving the order. Got an email on October 25 stating that they have co-ordinated with the courier partner and restated that order was delivered (Refer to attachment 6).
5. I wrote again reiterating that order was not received. Again, got a response from ShopClues Customer service on October 27, 2016 (Refer to attachment 7). It again stated that their courier partner has confirmed that order was delivered. However, they will arrange for a Proof of Delivery within 7 business days.
6. Eventually, my order was delivered on November 02, 2016. The courier slip (Refer to attachment 12) clearly showed that Courier Company picked up the order from the Manufacturer on Nov 25, 2016 (but ShopClues has already stated delivered on 16 Oct on their website and delivered on 21 Oct via email and SMS.)
7. Manufacturer Invoice (Refer to attachment 13) shows it was generated on Nov 25, 2016. Moreover, it stated “Used Sofa Set” (Second Hand Sofa). I ordered a new sofa set and not a Used Sofa Set.
8. Also, Sofa Set has major defects. It has 4 cut marks across both of the sofas.(Refer to attachments 14 to 17)
Now you know, who was telling the truth. Morevoer, the product is defective. Under normal, circumstances I would have requested a replacement. But, since I do not trust ShopClues anymore; I want a FULL REFUND of the order at the earliest.
ShopClues also need to compensate me for the lies, torture and harassment for the last two weeks.
Please get this resolved at the earliest.
