I have ordered for a Sony MDR - XB30EX Earphone for Rs. 299/- (which is actually worth Rs. 2499/-). I have heard so many rumors about ShopClues cheating customers by sending fake products and not refunding back. Then I thought, I should not judge a website by hearing or reading about them and foolishly purchased this item with Order No: 32898929. Since there was no COD option, I had to pay online and knew my money was burnt on fake product then itself. But had a little hope that I will be proved wrong. Ironically, I received a product Sony MDR - EX85SL Earphone(made in China) which wont be worth Rs.50/- in grey market. If I had received atleast a decent product, I would have adjusted with it. But I got a worst imaginable product. So when I placed a request for Refund, ShopClues insists that I received what I purchased and rejected the Refund process. Even I have made a mistake like u by ordering through shopclues. Order 69772200. I didn't expect a genuine product as u know that the original price of MDR XB30 headphones is around 2000; but here I was getting it for ₹411. However the sound quality of the phone is not even worth that of ₹200. Clearly it's a fake product but it's not even first copy. Now that I have requested for return, the status is showing as return rejected by seller. Shopclues boasts of buyer protection. Is this the buyer protection they provide?
