My self manjit rabha (Mobile no : [protected]) (Mail id :[protected]@gmail.com) would like to inform you that there was a fraud/wrong transaction has been done by me, on 15.01.2018 i received a message from this no. [protected] regarding an offer where i had to purchase within price 4000 to 5000 any item and i would get one free item like 1. Dell inspiron laptop, 15.6 inch, 2. Sony bravia led smart tv 40 inch, 3. Lg refrigerator double door 420 liter, 4. Apple iphone 7plus, 5. Lg ac 1.5 ton. After few minutes i got a call from [protected] regarding that offer and explained everything’s, i was impressed and got ready to purchase. Immediately i paid 4100 using my paytm account to this no. [protected] and booked one item in ebay.com through them and received a confirmation message from this no. [protected] mentioning order placed: your order id[protected] and product id[protected] amounting to rs.4188 has been received. You can expect delivery by 17 jan 2018. Few seconds later again got a call from this no [protected] and told me that i will have to pay gst tax to complete the order. Next day 16.01.2018 received a message in whatsapp from this no. [protected] where was written about the amount of tax 11999 and told me to pay within that day and said the amount will be refunded within 10 minutes and shared the courier contact no. [protected] (Blue dart) later on again got a call for the tax and asked me to pay using debit/credit card and i choosed to pay by credit card, he asked my credit card no. With cvv code and i shared both within second i received one message from axis bank about one time password which should not share with anyone. I shared the otp immediately 5000 was deducted from my credit card balance likewise again he asked the otp for second transaction, i shared and 5000 got deducted. During this work he was on phone line few seconds later he said that the transactions has failed so he told me to share the otp again, like this i share 3 times otp and every time balances was getting deducted. Totally 24040 rs. Have deducted from my credit card.
Next day on 17.01.2018 i dint get any response from them and as he said the tax will be refunded but i dint receive any amount.
Next day on 18.01.2018 around at 10.02am again got a call from this no. [protected] he said that the amount which was deducted from my credit card was incorrect so the amount got hold and the order could not be completed. He asked me to pay again 11999 to complete the order and to clear the hold amount and he said if i pay 11999 than only the deducted amount will be refunded but i refused to pay. When i refused he told that i will lose the amount of rs 24040. Finally, i asked my amount back but they are neither ready to refund all the amount nor they will deliver the item which was booked.
Sir i have done the biggest mistake sharing otp but the amount which has deducted is very huge amount for me because i belong to very poor family and i dint have enough knowledge about online shopping/transaction.
Sir i kindly request you to help me out from this issue and i hope that the right action will be taken against the persons who did this.
