Sikkim Manipal University — delay in exam and change of examination centre | |
I m in 4th semester and pursuing mba.. I am from ahmedabad gujarat and it is not possible for me to go to sikkim to give exams.. The mistakes are from your end and we students have to suffer because of your mistakes and court cases. I enrolled in sikkim manipal for mba as it has a centre in ahmedabad and now u gave a message stating that exam will be conducted in sikkim. Such behaviour is not acceptable. I m trying to contact at the help desk but there is no response stating"student councellor is attending calls of other students.." Guide for every semester calls to help students upto 2nd semester and ask their queries but as we reach to 3rd and 4th semester no one calls to take note of students or help for queires.. Also after the change of location of exam centre also the guide appointed for the students should have called to help students but such help is also not provided from your end.. Just a message forwarded that give your preference month for exam in sikkim.. Helpdesk is not responding to calls and giving messages that u have still not given your preference for exam. Kindly arrange for the same exam centres that were chosen at the time of admission in sikkim manipal university for already enrolled students. Waiting for a positive response from your end. what should we do now, as the various diseases like corona out there, it is impossible to travel to sikkim,
All Students who enrolled before supreme court verdict should be allowed to finish their courses keeping their existing examination centers.
Those who joined after the Supreme court order must have their examination center in Sikkim.
Keeping in mind the grave concern of Corona virus spread. The travel to Sikkim crossing the multiple states to reach Sikkim would put the life of students not only in danger but also highly time and resource consuming.
The students of Sikkim Manipal University should appeal in the supreme court to make this provision for existing students.
Any student from Sikkim Manipal University who knows a good lawyer, can appeal to the Court for amendment on this ruling. Specially this will be approved in case you approach the court giving the Corona related reason.
Nothing is above health and safety of the students. In my opinion students must form groups and approach the court to conduct the exams in their exam centers.
When supreme court receive multiple application from multiple lawyers regarding the same subject it will consider the case due to its gravity.
Remember if you do not approach the court you are putting your life into danger and have to attend your exams in Sikkim.
