Dishonest People. I had called them at first to know more about their services. For one of the services I enquired about in that call, they mentioned a rate of ₹6000.
A few days later, I visited the place and got to talk to the MD CJ Babu for my requirement. We talked for some time when he somehow convinced me that my requirement comes in a different category of the same service that I had enquired about and eventually changed the rate to ₹[protected]. I was informed that ₹8000 being the detective fee is needed in advance and non-refundable, it would take around 12 days for the investigation, the report will only be provided after the complete payment is made. After the first payment was made, he partially became disinterested / indifferent to my presence itself (note that there was no other customers in the office at the time). The receipt I got showed the total amount as ₹12000 corrected from ₹10000.
I had to call him after 12 days to get my report. That is when he told that it is still work in progress and the 'experienced' person doing the investigation will need 2 more days. I got the report after making the complete payment.
The report did contain some details I was not aware of. As part of the report, there was one fatal error which said that I was in a completely different district than where I really was, on a certain date (I am related to the person on whom the investigation was requested. For all I know, they are doing some investigation to obtain the easy details and filling up the rest of the narrative by themselves). I tried to call him but he wouldn't answer my calls. I sent a Whatsapp voice message telling him about the same. He hasn't responded since then (I sent the final message on 11 Nov 2021).

I would like to get a report that is worth the money I paid. Detailed and accurate as Mr CJ Babu marketed their services.

Hoping for this to be resolved soon.
