I’ve purchased food products from SPAR, Max hypermarket India Pvt Ltd, Pacific Mall, Shivaji Marg, New Delhi-18, vide Till 1051, Trans: 7546 15:13:01 on 28 Jun 2015, store ID:60001 Reg:105 Cashier-5.
Among the 4 products purchased, one was BP Jaggery RND Packed -500 grams (Batch no [protected]) packing date 22/4/2015 Best Before 21/07/2015. Packet was open on 2-7-2015 for consumption and we have found lots of insect white larva’s almost 1-2 cm long crawling inside the Jaggery.
I strongly believe their entire lot is infected with these larva's and it will be huge health risk for people who will consume this SPAR Jaggery product.
An inquiry & immediate inspection of shelf is required by Food inspector of West Delhi area.
