I have purchased Redmi 4 Mobile phone on 02.07.2017. Now only 6 months over. Two days before ie, on 19.01.18 I observed light display color change on the right side of mobile screen. I immediately went to my nearest Redmi authorized service centre located in Miyapur, Hyderabad on 22.01.18 and showed my problem. Without analyzing itself they are simply telling that there is water entrapment inside ur phone and screen has to be replaced at Rs.2900. Without even touching my phone they are simply telling these stories. From my purchase date to till now i didn't drop my phone on ground or no water or fluid contact occurred. Handset is still under warranty. Service centre is simply neglecting this without proper examination. My phone is working well except the display issue on right top corner. If phone fells in water the entire handset will get damaged. So i request to go through my case and need replacement of handset with a new one under warranty.
