Srm Transports — about staff behaviour | |
I was 10 minutes (6.30pm) late to bus stand. Got a call from a staff [protected] and he promised he'll wait since i was very nearer to the transport. After 5 minutes i reached the place and i was shuttled here and there for 15 minutes. I called the number again he didn't pick up the call. No one was in enquiry counter. When i asked drivers there they asked me to check in ticket counter, he again asked me to go near gate and find the person who called me. I went near gate and asked the drivers there and they again asked me to see person who is in office. Two men inside the office with a cool reply said bus left. I said i was shuttled inside bus stand for 15 minutes and the person who called me didn't pick up my call. Only because he promised he'll wait i was confident enough that the bus would be in premises. They both started laughing without any response. I asked for seat availability in other bus. They checked and asked me pay again. Same time some other staff entered the office and they both started talking with him and left me alone. With the embarrassed moment i left the place and reached home. Meanwhile i updated my parents and my husband about the happening. My dad called srm transport and explained the situation and the office staff promised a seat at 9.45pm and asked us to pay half the amount. So again after an hour i went to srm transport office. Those two men in office started teasing me when i explained the situation. They mocked at me and said they have no necessity to give ticket to me. All men inside office started laughing. I was really embarrassed. I came out with tears and called my parents and husband and asked them not to compel me to go again to srm transport office and went back home. The office staffs are not ready to understand customers or keep up the promise they make and. They doesn't even know how to behave to a solo women traveller. They made me travel two times to and fro from my house with their fake promise. Finally i left all last buses in all transports and now at home without attending an important occasion in my family.
