I am a masters in engineering student. I have chosen SRM over IITs expecting polite behaviour from the staff in hostel. I am a non native of the state and hence I need prior information of the entry and leave process while my stay and the hostel staff are supposed to be people who take care of me, not behave rudely when I am politely asking. I would request the authority to take strict action against this and also provide with an anonymous review for the hostel staffs based on students review they must be FIRED.
Insulting students must be prohibited and such behaviour must cause loss of job cause this is private body not a government employment. I will not reveal my student details regarding this. I am a student away from home and I expect the authority to make me comfortable not push away my queries rudely.

Worst management ever

My fee payment was done twice mistakently to srm, when I asked about money, they want me submit the relevant docs and i submitted it, its been 1 month since no response, whenever i am calling, they are blindly saying 10 days, how many 10 days i have wait for my money.

Is this the way they treat this issue..do I have to beg them for my money..

Very worst response and worst management..

Preparation room is not comfortable for patient. Fan is not working for that room.room door is not privacy.room is not clean very dirty. Some patient is taken semen in bathroom this is irritating for patient.plz ready a new semen analysis room .other wise hospital clean .testing .doctors treatment vera level.thank u.

I am a Research scholar from Kerala doing my PhD in Plant taxonomy and phylogeny in the Research and PG department of Botany, S.D. College, Alappuzha, Kerala. I have wrongly transferred Rs 1500/- to the institution account (A/c Name: Directorate of Research and virtual education, A/c No. [protected], City union bank, IFSc Code: CIUB0000117) as registration fee for workshop on phyloinformatics: Concepts, Methods and its application. Transaction date is 09.07.2021. Later only I checked the date and understood that the brochure was about an old workshop conducted in your Institute during 5-6 december 2019. I expect kindness and co-operation from this esteemed institute and take necessary action in this regard. The total system seems to be misleading for me. At the time of slot booking only main examination time & date could be got through.No schedule for mock test was given. No alert for mock test through sms or email was forwarded from your end.But in your guide line mock test is mandatory. I could not appear for mock test. So what to do at main examination date. Whether I will be allowed or not. If not refund the exam fees.

Initially, the slot booking process was supposed to start on May 19th, but it got delayed by a day. The date and time at which the facility to book exam date and time will close, is May 21, 2021, at 11 pm. Therefore, candidates are going to get a window of 39 hours only to book their examination slots.

Slot booking is an online process in which those who have applied for the exam, in this case SRMJEEE 2021 phase 1, can select the date and time slot in which they wish to sit for the exam. Usually this process happens on a first-come-first-serve basis. In that case, each slot has a limited number of test takers. And therefore, one who lays his/her claim on a slot first, gets it. It is just like booking a movie ticket when going to a cinema hall. . Therefore it will be best if candidates complete the slot booking process at the earliest, and not wait for the last minute, as by then, their favorite slot might get booked.
In our case we have registered our application on 25th December 2020 and was eagerly waiting for the Exam and now we have not yet received any mail for booking slot registration and also mock test details and today is 21st last day for slot booking and mock test.
Apart from all the above issue no one picks the calls and completely things are chaotic and dont know what students have to do and parents are trying to reach every number and contacts available on the net and no use.
Please act immediately and help students to give the exam.

They force and threatened us to pay the full fees in this pandemic situation if we question them they are not responding and threatening us in a open group they don’t give us rights to talk and acting soooo rude

Due to Corona Pandemic season there is no hostel since March 2020. Mess is not being utilized by students. University has saved on Electricity and water due to non-usage, yet the fees are being taken in full and also at present exam fees are asked.

This is totally wrong, some subsidy has to be received for hostel fees and tuition fees

I've been struggling with online classes and projects due to this lockdown the staffs are putting more pressure on students on completing the project and I have no resource available to even start my project and they are stressing me to somehow do my project and it is affecting my mental health I'm a final year BPT student and all o[censored]s are suffering from this please help us as soon as possible

My brother took admission for btech AI ML year 2020 and after the total year's fee and hostel payment, online enrollment confirmation over the portal, now the college simply is giving excuses that his name is either replaced and there is a system error from the college's end. The student is suffering and missing his classes. I want full refund in case nothing can be done. You shall be responsible if something happens to his life out of this depressing scenario that your management has created!

The intercom service is not working. They said our personal phones not allowed. But most of the persons having phones. If you having rule means it should applicable for all. Atleast correct the intercom service for outing or incoming.

Last year the clg accepted the old batches students but now in the 2020 the are not giving admission's to 2019 batch. So kindly request the management that to give admissions for the old batches. They too considered srm for their studies so please do accept

This complaint is against the extremely unhygienic bathrooms of srmist. The bathrooms have brown mold growing on the doors. Bathrooms in the biotechnology department don't have soap dispensers. Only the ground floor has both soap dispenser and hand drier. Please look into the issue since this year started off with a deadly pandemic covid 19 hygiene should be looked into seriously. The university being a private and rich institute neglects basic amenities. Not only does it lack in providing fair regulations to students in 2017 batch it has also failed to look at the importance of hygiene. Such institutions should be ashamed.

I am father of yashwant sahu,. My son residing in your hostel. Student id is 272139. While booking hostel on 21 feb 20, the amount transaction was made to your hostel was failed. The amount is approx ₹119000. The amount is debited in my citi bank account. The hostel name is thamurai & room no is 227. I have already booked another hostel on same date.

It is requested that the amount may be refunded at the earliest. Because i have to pay the above amount to the citi credit card.

Im an ex student and currently working in kerala. As i'm planning to study my msc. Abroad i required a letter of recommendation from srm. When i contacted the hod of science and humanities mrs. Chitra and explained my requirement her assistant said i would have to come to the university to get the letter to which i explained that im currently working and also in a different state which would make it very difficult as a girl to come over there...

My son monu dahiya was applied for provisional admission b tech in cse in srm university sonipat haryana and a sum of rs. 30000 deposited vide online receipt no. 38800. On 15 jul 2018 my son admission confirmed in govt university. On the same day e-mail sent to srm university to cancel the provisional admission alongwith scaned copy of provisional admision documents and refund the fee. Next day my son visited to srm university to cancellation of admision and refund the fee. Director of admission returned my son saying. I am not taking any action on your e mail and no fee paid by you will be refunded. Application for refund the fee not accepted. Many time i and my son visited to university to refund the fee. He is not taking intrest on my verbal communication as well as on my application. Many times send e mail to vice chalancer, challancer as well as higher authority ucg but till date no action has been taken by any authorites and advance fee paid to university is still pending till date.

I applied and got selected in part time phd program of electrical department in srmist modinagar.
I got a provisional letter (Dated[protected] in which it has been instructed to submit a demand draft of rs 12000 in favour of srmist, payable at chennai.
After submission the fee draft and required documents on[protected], i did not receive any confirmation mail of my admission from your side till date.

I received one answer from research head of srm modinagar that your proposed guide has been left the job and we are recruiting faculties for research then we will confirm your candidature.

Due to so much delay in process i took the admission in phd somewhere else.
Now i require the refund of my submitted fee.

I mailed the above details to [protected]@srmist. Edu.in on 21st july 2019 as per instruction got from srm customer care but i did not receive any type of acknowledgement from srm side till date.

I tried to mail prof. Srs prabaharan joint director (Research) and prof. B. Neppolian (Dean research) but worst condition of srm is that the email id they are showing on srm site are bounce failure.

It is good to me that i joined ph. D somewhere else because such type condition in srm are exist then what will happen with my phd course if i join in srm.
I am revolving in customer care numbers and mail from last 3 months for a simple fee refund issue. Nobody is taking care of that even they did not acknowledge my mail.

The 2015 regulation has drastically changed the grading system of the institute, this will give students of srm a great disadvantages in terms of placements and further studies, as other college and universities in india provide a grade point of 9.0 for marks above 80 while in srm grade point of 7.0 is provided for students scoring between 75-84. This students here face a great disadvantage of nearly 2 grade points while competing for higher studies and placements.
They have changed the grading system from 2018 regulation. Actual sufferers are 2015 regulation students ie students who have joined between 2015-17. Please apply the new grading system atleast for 2017-18 students.

Am a student of architecture from srm sead... So basically there's not even a basic facility in the campus.. All that the council members see during the inspection is done a week before and the entire building is not for architecture... Few classes are for m ba and b ba
And the students are not used to the labs... Even they setup labs during the inspection only and we are instructed not to say this to the council members.
Also the campus is not maintained as the sewage water peeps out to the roads in the campus... And my kind request is to come for inspection without informing my college authorities
