[Resolved] Star Cj Alive — false and half information about the product | |||
To T he Principal Officer Consumer Complaints Court Dear Sir/Madam, By watching Advertisement on star CJ Alive channel I ordered a smart touch 7" tablet with order No. [protected], invoice no.[protected], docket no.[protected] dated[protected] from star CJ-alive and the tablet was delivered on 22nd April, 2013. Before buying this product I enquired from the company about the availability of service center at Jaipur. The company people told that service centers are available in all the cities. Relying on the information shown on the advertisement and over the phone, I placed the order. When I actually start using tablet I faced a lot of problems regarding Internet connection problems as it did not recognizing any dongle. The product was also defective because when I start charging the tablet both charger and tablet got very heated within a minute that I could not touch the instrument. Thereafter I called them up and told about the defective peace and also complained that tablet is not recognizing any other dongle for internet connection. In response to my query they ignored my problem wit h regard to defective piece and forced me to use it as it is and for internet connection they told t hat I need to buy t heir company made dongle with the extra cost of Rs.1500/-. I was shocked and told them that this fact was not shown on the advertisement while selling the product on Star CJ Alive Channel. I felt c heated and told t hem that you hide this information and I requested them to refund my money back. In turn, they said that company has no such policy of refunding t he money. On this, I told them that if company has no such policy then the same fact should have been s hown at the time of advertisement as the company will not do so if they show this fact on advertisement. Their motives are very clear that they want to cheat the customers. Number of times I told them to refund the money for the above reasons, but no positive response came from company side. I was helpless & forced to buy t heir company made dongle as wit hout internet t he tablet was no use for me. Any how I arranged the money I bought heir company made dongle in July, 2013. But here again I came to know one more fraud that it supports only 3G connection for this again I complaint for hid such informations but all was waste. Even after 3G support the product was not working properly & has internet connection problem. Company had given me defective product too for this I used to called up company agents number of times for refunding my money, but every time my complaint to a new person was not yielding any result although they used to keep my call on hold for a long time and afterwars it was to be disconnected to discourage me so t hat i will give up and not forced t hem to refunding my money. Moreover, t hey never used to give my complain number on my request also. That means company has no system for customer relationship as their motive was only to cheat as much as customer and earn money with the low quality product From the day one i have been requesting them for refunding the money back due to hiding of facts about t he product on t he advertisement wit h regard to dongle, service centre and also about the hidden cost for their company made dongle of extra cost of Rs.1500/- and also defective piece. After all the complains over the phone, they straight forwardly refused to refund my money. When I came to know that they cheated many other customers like me, then from them I came to know the procedure to complain. Then I made my complain in writing on[protected] to Company. On my written complain, they replied that they will not refund my money back. They have wasted my too much time & money and stretched t he issue without any result. I am complaining from April to till date but company is not refunding my money. Please help me to get my refund. In the same manner they have deceived so many other persons by supplying defective and unserviceable product. Few examples are as under: 1. Mr. Tushar 2.
