[Resolved]  Star Cj — Dispatching sub standard quality of bed sheets

Sir,
I am writing this mail to you, with regards to a product which i
bought from Star CJ website 4 days ago.
I had placed an order for a pair of bedsheets(Item code - [protected])
for Rs 1599. I had placed an order for the same, after seeing the
bright colours and the beautiful designs which was telecasted on TV.
The order was placed accordingly, and the delivery was supposed to be
within 02 days, with the payment mode being cash on delivery.

Accordingly, the item was delivered on 10 Aug 2014, as per the invoice
number[protected] and the Docket number for the Delivery was
A9838475. I paid the delivery man a sum of Rs 1599, after which he
departed.

On opening the parcel, i was horrified to see that, the product was
far from what was shown on TV. The colours of the bedsheet was very
dull and it looked like a used product rather than a new product. It
felt as if the product was already pre-washed a million times, before
it was delivered to me.

I immeaditely called the customer care number to complain about the
sub standard product, and told them that the product was not as per
shown on the TV. The lady at the customer care center, told me that
the product was a new product, and it would not be possible to return
the same. On being reminded about the exchange and refund policy of
the company, she agreed to exchange the same.

Now, on 12 Aug 2014, two days after the incident, i got a call again
from their customer care number[protected], wherein, the lady on the
phone, told that the return policy was adequately explained to me over
the phone, whereas on the contrary, nothing of that sort was done, and
to prove the same, i told her to check her phone records for adequate
verification of the facts.

During the course of the conversation, the lady on the phone, refused
to change the product or refund the money.

This has left me with a very bad taste with Star CJ, and i really dont
want to use their products. I would like a full refund of my
money(Rs 1599), and would not like to settle for an exchange,

It is very unfortunate, that the company resorts to fooling the innocent
citizens by showing them a product, and delivering them a totally
different product. And if the terms and condition policy is being referred to, there is a mention that the products shall be taken back and the full refund shall be admissable.

You are requested to consider the same, and help me in claiming the refund the money back to
me at the earliest.
