Star Jalsha — Stereotyping women in Sreemoyee serial

It is with great concern that I am writing this regarding the ways in which women are being portrayed in the serial Sreemoyee. It’s perhaps the only watchable series in Star Jalsha, but it has shifted from a progressive one to a retrogressive approach where women are being projected as enemies of women. An age-old trick to subvert the oppressive roles of men play to keep their patriarchal power within families. How can a woman like Sreemoyee be depicted as being so forgiving. Anindo seems suddenly so good and a modern educated woman like June so nasty? So all women’s problems lie with women themselves and also the solutions? Men seem to be puppets poor things? Please think again!! Sreemoyee is definitely a clever way of reinforcing patriarchal roles of women as caregivers, sacrificing and forgiving? Violence against women has the been increasing and these kinds of depictions only encourage abuse and violence against women

I have been watching this teleserial since late 2019. I was quite interested...but now it seems that the writer is not getting any clue to continue the the story line.
1. Sreemoyee is the second Gautam Buddha forgiving everyone...even June. Do not you think that it is against the modern human nature?
2. June is suddenly pregnent by 5 months but she is still jumping around and the ladies in the serial are not questioning about her figure as it remains same as it was before...no offense please ...I am married and I know what happens to the figure if somebody is pregnent by 5 months.
Please...either discontinue the serial or bring it back to the right track...We love stories but not illogical.
