I live in singapore and am a tamilian. I watch many shows in your channel and thoroughly enjoy what you feature.

However, a recent tv serial that is being featured in your channel has caused me great concern.

Titled ponnukku thanga manasu, this show highlights how a new bride comes into her husband's house wearing imitation jewellery and is chased out of the house by her mother in law.

Although i understand that almost 80 per cent of your drama serials deal with intense conflicts between mother in laws and daughter in laws, this particular serial uses many harsh words that are bordering on in sensitivity. It touches primarily on the dowry system, something that i'm aware is banned in india and is an offence. It's disturbing to note that your drama serial's premise sits on this archaic practice and shows how the mother in law tortures a young daughter in law over money and jewelery. Worse, today's episode talks about how it would have been better to have killed the daughter than giving imitation jewellery during the marriage.

This is unacceptable. And bordering on disgusting. I sincerely hope you will do something about this. Thank you.
