State Bank Of Bikaner And Jaipur [SBBJ] — Recurring deposit

I had opened a recurring deposit account in sbbj chopasni housing board branch of jodhpur on 8th of april 2016 using net banking with standing instructions for further deposit of the amount every month. But no money was deposited in my rd account subsequently and the account was closed on 1st of november 2016 without any communication or information to me regarding this and the bank branch issued a draft of my 1st deposit amount of rs5000/- on 30th of december 2016 which was posted to me on 19th of january 2016. No interest was paid on the deposited amount of rs 5000 as it was charged as penalty. When i visited the branch for getting information the manager told me that the account wasn't opened by our branch rather it was opened by myself online so no communication could be made, i don't understand that net banking is a facility to the customer or its a liability. He offered no explanation for the delay in all the proceedings.
I want explanation as to why money wasn't deposited in my rd account even when i have given the standing instruction for the same and also i want the interest on the deposited amount for the deposit period at least.
